PASTA WITH SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS

THIS IS AN EASY DISH TO MAKE, EITHER AHEAD OF TIME OR AT THE LAST MINUTE, FOR PARTY OF TWO OR A PARTY.  SINCE THE PRIME INGREDIENT IS ITALIAN SAUSAGE, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE BEST YOU CAN FIND.  (I BOUGHT MINE AT McCALL’S)

I LIKE THE MIX OF SWEET FENNEL SAUSAGE AND SPICEY SAUSAGE, BUT YOU CAN MAKE IT WITH JUST ABOUT ANY SAUSAGE YOU LIKE.  THE SAME GOES FOR YOUR CHOICE OF PASTA.  IT TASTES JUST AS GOOD WITH SPAGHETTI, BUCATINI OR EVEN RIGATONI.  RESERVE SOME OF THE PASTA WATER TO THIN OUT THE SAUCE AT END.  SERVE IT WITH A CRUSTY BAGUETTE AND A GARLICKY GREEN SALAD.  DON’T FORGET THE CHIANTI.
