DUCK LEGS WITH GRILLED FIGS

FIGS ARE IN SEASON AND AS GOOD AS THEY TASTE  RAW, THEY ARE EVEN BETTER GRILLED.  THE FRUIT SUGARS CARAMELIZE AND WITH A FEW DROPS OF REAL BALSAMIC VINEGAR, THEY ARE WONDERFUL WITH BURRATA AND TOMATOES.  OR, IN THIS CASE, ADDED TO DUCK LEGS BRAISED IN RED WINE.  IF POSSIBLE, USE LEGS FROM MUSCOVY OR BARBARY DUCK, SINCE THEY ARE LARGER AND MEATIER THAN PEKIN DUCK.
